The case selected by the School wins the "Ram Charan Management Practice Award" Outstanding Award again

Recently, the Chinese edition of Harvard Business Review announced the winners of the 7th annual Ram Charan Management Practice Award. The case "Shili Fangfei in Diaoyuan: Creating Aesthetic Ecology in the Name of Beauty", written by Professor Hu Haibo's team, won the Outstanding Award of "2023 Ram Charan Management Practice Award". This is the second consecutive year that our selected cases have won the Ram Charan Management Practice Award, the highest honor for management practice in China.

The case tells the story of Shili Fangfei team with ancient building restoration as the center, with the concept of "new life aesthetics" as the radius of divergence, from resource symbiosis to resource regeneration, from building repair to the perfection of the business, outlining the aesthetic ecology composed of "beautiful things, food, hotel, power, wish" five major life scenes. The "EPC+O" mode is used to repair and rebuild the ancient village of Diaoyuan, reshape its appearance, and build a new type of lively village-style leisure holiday destination.
